University discount is primarily meant for Stata users who teach students. For prices please see the web shop.

Universities, university hospitals and university colleges receive university discount. University hospitals need to provide the name of the university to which it is affiliated if that is not obvious from the hospital’s name.

In addition to university discount, it is possible for universities to order Stata licenses for students at extra discounted "GradPlan" prices.

Governmental agencies and private persons do not receive university discount.

A person who has double affiliation, for example both to a university and to a governmental agency, receives university discount only if s(he) provides the university’s address as the invoice and the delivery address. This applies also to graduate students.

Research institutes without a university address whose researchers supervise graduate students do not receive university discount.
